Notes
A warm week has seen some great hatches of buzzer and alder with a sprinkling of olives. Floating lines and intermediates have done well, with the latter best on the brighter days. Overcast conditions have had the fish rising freely all day and many anglers have taken fish on dries.
Regular Kevin O’Regan had the week’s best bag of 14 fish up to 6lb on snakes using an intermediate line. Static buzzer fished just over the drop off has been producing plenty of fish for our regulars too, with many taking bags of high single figures.
We have another delivery of blues coming next week up to high single figures so keep your eyes open for them and make sure you have heavy enough leader on as they really pull hard!
