Notes
Phew….What a scorcher! The weather has been fantastic, but not really suited to fishing. Those brave enough to venture out have had some success however and the newly installed aerators have been working their magic. Six and seven fish tallies have been recorded on buzzers, shuttlecock buzzers and damsels. The damsel hatch is now well underway and they are hatching in their thousands at the moment. Once the weather breaks towards the end of this week and more sensible temperatures are realised we expect the fishing to improve once again.
Due to the higher than average water temperatures for the time of year and to maintain responsible fish welfare measures we have removed the catch and release option for the foreseeable future. All catch and keep tickets have had the catch and release element removed. We have however also reduced each ticket by £5.00
As soon as water temperatures return to more favourable levels we will reinstate the catch and release option immediately. Sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause.
The yellow tagged fish has been seen and is still waiting to be caught the prize fund is now over £600!! just place a £1 in the pot when purchasing your ticket…’You’ve got to be in it to win it’. Tight Lines!!
