Fishing Haywards lake has been particularly rewarding for those anglers who have roamed the banks as the fish have been found in small shoals very close in.  Buzzers fished just 18″ below the surface have accounted for many of these fish this week which is surprising considering the cold weather.  For those looking to keep warm blobs and taddies stripped just below the surface using the famous “Rutland Rip” have also worked exceptionally well!
