Regular rod Simon Mann has had a successful week here, not only catching a 9lb rainbow on Monday but then followed it up with catching an orange tagged fish which entitled him to a complimentary days fishing!  Simon returned again yesterday afternoon and managed to catch another 8 rainbows on a snake fly!  Buzzers, blood worms and other small nymphs fished slowly under indicators have also worked well this week, just allowing the ripple of the water to provide all the movement.

The tagged fish competition is still on going with the yellow tagged fish still at large, and now worth a whopping £1100+!  On Sunday evening we also released another 20 orange tagged rainbows, catch one of these and you win a free days fishing on Haywards farm lake on us!  Remember to put £1 into the tagged fish pot to enter when purchasing your day ticket!
