Still waiting for the water temperatures to dip to kick off the autumn fishing. Fish being caught are currently taking buzzers.
Cat’s whisker, hare’s ear and pheasant tail nymphs all catching. Water temperature remains high, but good fishing in cooler conditions.

Few anglers on the fishery at present, everyone looking forward to the start of the prime autumn fishing – and the start of our boat fishing and float tube days.
Fishery quiet and the fishing continues to be slow in the hot weather.
A very slow week with a high water temperature putting off both fish and anglers. Damsels and Diawl Bachs scoring with those fish that were caught.
A variety of patterns scoring this week from dry daddies to olive damsels, buzzers and Montanas.
A quiet week due both to hot weather and a National Fishing Month event on site curtailing fishing opportunities. Pheasant tails and gold head cat’s whiskers both scoring.
Fishing slowed slightly in the warmer conditions – early and late sessions were best. Damsels, Montanas and Diawl Bachs the patterns producing.
