An exceptional week with a lot of fish being caught on Haywards Farm Lake, a few browns are beginning to show too, topped by a fish of 6lb 12oz. The excellent fishing on Haywards Farm Lake has continued with fish to 6lb showing in catches of up to eight fish per session. Week ending 13 November 2016

Notes

The excellent run of fishing continued this week with everyone catching fish to a top weight of 7lb. Cat’s whiskers remained the number one pattern but blobs, blue flash damsels and olive CDCs were also taking fish.

The fishing is still excellent with most patterns catching including blobs, lures, daddies, snakes and shrimps.

Excellent fishing. Wooly buggers and damsels are currently scoring very well – with anything orange worth an outing too.

Plenty of good fish showing, including a nice brace of 6lb 8oz and 6lb 3oz to one angler. Blobs and boobies accounting for a lot of fish but black and green lures, damsels and cat’s whiskers are all catching.

Cooler temperatures has seen the fishing continue to improve with fish to 7lb showing. Wooly buggers, spiders, damsels and daddies are all catching.

Fishing beginning to improve steadily with an increasing number of better fish beginning to show. Most patterns scoring including blobs, spiders, damsels and cat’s whiskers.

Orange blobs, damsels and cat’s whiskers all catching. Water temperatures are finally beginning to dip and the fishing is improving as a consequence.
