Notes
Last week was another warm and relatively settled week and we continued to see large hatches throughout most days. Clouds of buzzers littered the sky all around the lake and the fish were certainly making the most of it. Floating lines and midge tips worked best depending on the amount of cloud cover at the time. When the cover disappeared the fished moved down, so be ready to adjust your depth accordingly. Traditional buzzer patterns, Diawl Bachs and crunchers all worked well with a few fish also falling to lures.
Will Parkes returned again and had another great day on the buzzers landing around 10 fish up to 5lbs. Our new electric gates will be getting fitted over the coming week and, once complete, will allow for evening fishing to recommence. We will keep you all posted on the progress!
