Notes
The first week after the clocks have changed have seen anglers staying on much later in the day and taking advantage of the buzzer hatches and prolific evening rises. We can honestly say we have never seen so much surface activity as we have been seeing this week, it has been incredible! Dry fly has taken plenty of fish along with buzzers and nymphs fished high up in the water or on the washing line. Mini lures are still taking fish but many anglers have opted for the natural approach and have been very well rewarded.
The tagged fish competition has now reach a whopping pot value of £300 and it still growing!! Some lucky angler is going to get a surprise and a full wallet if they land that one! Don’t forget to pay your pound to enter the competition before you start fishing, you have to be “in it to win it!”
Evening tickets for just £20 for C&R after 5pm are perfect for a bit of after work relaxation so come and join us for the evening rise!
