Our team has an encyclopaedic knowledge of every aspect of game and lure fishing and are always happy to impart advice on every aspect of your fishing, we also offer a range of one-to-one and group casting lessons and day courses suitable for all anglers, from absolute beginners to those looking to hone and develop their skills. In addition, there is a diverse range of both in-house and residential courses to allow you to practice in the field.

The highly experienced Sportfish tuition team of Chris Hayward, Jonathan Tomlinson and Robin Elwes offers a personalised service to ensure you receive the tuition that YOU require, not purely a generic lesson, and it is tied in with a comprehensive tackle assessment to ensure you are appropriately kitted out with the correct tools that you need to do the job – whatever you fish for, be that trout, salmon or saltwater.

On-site tuition covers the whole cycle of learning and development through ½ to 1 hour lessons and Haywards Farm Lake features both a purpose-built casting platform and an underwater casting platform for those who want to learn to cast from the water.

Casting Lesson Tariff

• 1-on-1 adult lesson £50 per hour (can include up to two under 16s)
• Group adult lesson £85 per hour
• Junior lesson (under 16) £25 per 30mins on Kingfisher Pond (with 1 fish to keep or release)
• Junior lesson (under 16) £20 per 30mins (no fish)
