Notes
Last week was another mixed week with some really scorching weather proving to be too hot for all but a couple of anglers who, despite the weather, still managed a few to the net. The cooler days saw far more activity with dries and nymphs continuing to work well.
Damsels are everywhere at the moment and the buzzers have now been joined by some very healthy hatches of caddis. The mornings and evenings continue to be the best time of day to have a cast with anglers taking advantage of the new gates to fish on late into the evening.
This week looks a little cooler, both during the days and at night, so the fishery will continue to stay open but catch and release will remain suspended. We are closely monitoring the water temperatures and will try and stay open for anglers for as long as possible. Please keep up to date via our Facebook page, the shop or our website.
