Despite the somewhat inclement conditions, timed mostly to coincide with the weekend when most of us are able to get out and fish, Haywards Farm Lake has continued to fish exceptionally well.

Last week once again saw plenty of big, hard–fighting fish hit the net including this cracking 9lb rainbow taken by Mark Ilott on a damsel nymph fished on a floating line. Not only was it a great fish, but it was also the ‘money fish‘ with the green tag, so Mark picked up £100 and he is pictured here receiving the cash from Sportfish team member, Nick Clewlow.
